Today Hannah, me and Louis all had a production meeting as there were some disagreements about our ideas. This was mainly because I had been away for a few days so the plan changed of course. However, before the meeting they hadn't really explained the idea other than that it'd be in a Jazz club, and they hadn't thought of anything other than the setting. Now we know more about how to make it an interesting music video with progression, rather than just a few shots of someone on stage, which is a generic style of music video.
We have to think quickly about the location now, and go around some clubs and see if we could use it on a morning to shoot at. If not we could use one of the rooms at Coleridge or here at long road (black room), or I could get some studio rooms at Anglia Ruskin.
We were thinking of doing auditions for the roles, we would need a lot of extras and they all need to wear formal wear. However this should be okay as it's all going to be teenagers (prom settings) and we can get plenty of dresses and suits from proms.
